Flood protection products

The primary responsibility for protecting property from flood damage rests with the property owner. While flooding can't always be prevented, a range of products are available to help reduce damage.

The council holds a small stock of these items and can sell them to the public at cost price. Prices reflect bulk purchase discounts and are usually lower than buying direct from suppliers.

We strongly recommend buying flood protection products in advance from commercial suppliers and not relying on council stock. Other commercially available products may also better suit your specific needs.
